Jaime Pericás-Alfaro

Jaime Pericas attended the University of Puerto Rico – Río Piedras and the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he completed a Master of Science in Sociology of Organizations and Economic Sociology. With 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector, he served as Vice President of Commercial Sales for Triple-S Blue Cross Blue Shield of Puerto Rico, Medical Card System, and Humana, where he also led Medicare Sales. He later served as Senior Vice President for the employee benefits practice of HUB International’s Puerto Rico office. In 2022 he started a health solutions marketing business to promote the development of intelligent healthcare ecosystems and improve access to care. Jaime is a licensed life and health insurance broker in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the State of Florida. He is a Health Insurance Associate (HIA), Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP), and Fellow of the Academy for Healthcare Management (FAHM) by AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans), and a Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) by HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society).
